The Njord 75 Side has a 75mm side outlet and is designed for installation in concrete floors. The floor drain has a built-in extension ring. This extension ring should sit in its lowest position when casting the concrete; and after grouting, the upper part can then be raised by a maximum of 23mm and can be angled up to 8° from its starting position. The Njord floor drain comes complete with a removable water trap, clamping ring and plastic grate. It also comes with a protective cover that is intended to prevent any concrete or debris from entering the drain during installation.
The automatic self-adjusting clamping ring is used for both waterproofing membranes and vinyl flooring with a thickness of 1.5mm to 2mm.
